Story of a girl !!

Numerous girls around the globe are living a dire life. Forced to engaged in some really really bad activities. I've just finished watching a documentary on Human-trafficking, and that made me think that this world is literally a bottomless pit for them, in which they can never find an inch of peace and happiness.

Story of a girl
who strolls alone
in this treacherous world.

Born with an auxiliary fortune
she gifted her parents with a
poisonous song and a death tune.

Untamed now she moves
Drawing all around
some unusual grooves.

With the pile of suggestions
she's progressing
taking halt at various stations
sojourning and then a new chase
a new face
in every next phase.

Not staying
She walks again
to face the monsters
specially trained
Same way decades passed
Her skin mutated
from innocence to
a totally harassed.

Back where all began
at the gate of eternal rest
She slept
after a very long time
she heartily wept

Questioning first time
she demands
What was my crime ??
She guessed
I came to this world
at a very wrong time...
that was my only crime.

  1. Jyoti,in very young age, u r already capable in bringing into the spot, the agony of human trafficking. Only a wonderful heart like u could depict such a very touching story of the victim of human slavery!
I wish all the bastards out there, stop their crime against humanity!!!

  2. Human trafficking is a very serious problem. Probably more than the average citizen realizes. It's underground, and out of the spotlight, so people aren't completely aware. It needs to be spoken about more.

  3. @papa: exactly it is widespread but in hidden form from the common man.

  4. The world is full of it from Gap clothing being manufactured with child labour to child prostitution for less than a price of a chocolate bar in the West. Sad to say the West generally likes to turn a blind eye to the rest of the world with such things.

  14. You really captured the pain of human-trafficking! A friend told me yesterday that some of her friends in India had their 2yr old daughter stolen last week. The agony for these parents must be enourmous!

  18. Hi Jyoti,
Human trafficking doesn't get the attention that it needs. There is so much wasted time and energy spent on things that happened in the past that we cannot do anything about.

We must focus on present crimes like human trafficking.

  20. Very beautifully said. I feel your compassion. I also saw that documentary...or one similar. There is so much beauty in our world and yes, then the dark side. Without the dark, we do not recognize the light. Sad is it not. Loved your post. Thank you for following Ravenmyth. From there I found you. Am now following and subscribed by email for more of your insight....

  33. Many children have this plight with no fault of their own. Destiny and, of course, inhuman attitude of people in the surroundings takes away their innocence and dries up these human resources. It is touching.
