CHAOS

According to the Oxford Dictionary 'Chaos' literally means- A state of extreme confusion and disorder. Extreme randomness.....too random to make any sense. Don't think even for a second that Random Scribblings is  going for the same extreme randomness :P  I'm writing all this in full sense and not at any ungodly hours but at 6.00 PM in the evening.

By 'chaos' here I mean the anxiety, the uncertainty,  the possibility and probability of newness. The puzzled and qualmish state (in good sense) to experience something out of box. Things beyond the floors and ceilings. A phase of boundlessness and no-limits.

What’s this miraculous hack?
It’s a simple one: let go. Let go of control and allow yourself to be swept away by the powerful currents of life. Let go of planning and embrace not know what will happen. Let go of productivity and be open to new ideas, new opportunities, spontaneous creativity.

A place to go
where I've never been before.
Butterflies fluttering inside
eager to know what's outside.
Not a moment of silence
just the noise and urge
to take more, to see more
feeling of elation and devour.

Fragrance of inspiration
scope of novel creations.
Possibility of exploring
a treasure
with just bare hands.
Feasibility of fabricating
a castle with
pebbles and dry sand.

Leave behind the
monsters of details.
Let the veil of odds unveil.
Make the things slide
For a moment of change.
Let them derail.
One step forward from
this era of pre-defined 'Time'
Sometimes this ticking time
becomes fuckin foe of mine.

Friedrich Nietzsche says - You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star.
I say- Lets have this chaos with in us. Order and arrangements and rules are good ( no doubt in that) but too much is always bad.... Sometimes lil derailment from the regular things is not only good but it's vital.
What do you guys say ??

  1. Completely agree with you.

A lil bit of chaos would be the trigger to nudge you out of your comfort zone, to make things better for yourself.

  2. I always find a pattern of orderliness in existing chaos and that gives me a sense of future, my astrological technique.

  4. I like my ocd and keeping things all nice and neat, but yes many a time a little derailment from the mundane is just what everyone needs.

  13. A little chaos is always required. Nature does it all the time to make the livings realize its presence.

  14. In all things there has to be chaos and order, it's a question of learning how to juggle. Too much chaos isn't good for the mind to cope with, not enough and we sit and vegetate. This is so well written. I like a little chaos, but not too much :)

  17. this combines so many great elements into an undeniable notion. the possibility and probability of newness you say is the chaos you are talking about. i like that. i've heard that many successful people (obviously this came from a book) shoot first and aim later. the point is to act, and one can fine-tune and make detailed adjustments later. butterflies on the inside, want to know what's on the outside. the image of fluttering chaos on both sides of the stomach wall is an interesting one, since the image of the womb is typically one of peace, that is until the birth when chaos precipitates something extraordinary.

  18. Ever realized how chaos is infact a very mandatory part of our lives?
These lines were beyond beautiful :
    **Possibility of exploring
    a treasure
    with just bare hands.
    Feasibility of fabricating
    a castle with
    pebbles and dry sand.

Its great to venture out and explore greener pastures. Your words add more beauty to it. <3

  21. Jyoti,

Very true. Too much control works negatively hampering free thoughts which are a must for new discoveries or inventions. One needs to come out of shackles at times to discover own creativity.

    Take care

  22. totally agree with what you have t osay , a little bit of chaos keeps us on our toes and no harm too.. if it was not there we will become stagnant and like stagnant water we will become corrupt and unusable toooo

  23. Profound and thought provoking. I know you wrote this one to lighten the stiffness we bring to the challenged lives we are living but I can't stop myself from quoting one of my favorite quotes from Buddha here...

"Chaos is inherent in all compounded things. Strive on with diligence."

  26. there can be no peace if there is no chaos...so it has to be there..and we studied in our school..that the chaos can only increase in the system and not decrease... anyway your poem is such a lovely that it can set free from the shackles of science and decrease the chaos :)
